How to Use LinkedIn Pro Finder to Generate More Leads


When it comes to professional networking sites, LinkedIn is the clear winner. Over 200 million professionals use the platform to build their personal brand, find new job opportunities, and connect with new clients. However, most users are only taking advantage of a small percentage of its features. There’s so much more you can do with LinkedIn if you know what you’re doing. Instead of just leaving your profile as is, read this blog post for advice on how to make the most out of your account and generate more leads using LinkedIn Pro Finder.

WHAT IS LINKEDIN PRO FINDER?


LinkedIn Pro Finder is a tool that allows you to search for people by their job title, company, and location. Similar to a search engine, LinkedIn Pro Finder can be used to find new contacts, employees, and clients who work in your industry or might be interested in your product/service(s).

The tool can be used to find prospects by job title, company, or location. You can also use advanced search operators to find more specific results. While there are many other ways you can use LinkedIn to generate leads, Pro Finder is a quick and efficient way to find new prospects and engage with them without having to leave the platform.

HOW DO I USE LINKEDIN PRO FINDER?

You can also follow these steps to get more leads using LinkedIn Pro Finder:

STEP 1:

You will receive project requests in your notifications tab on LinkedIn. Click on the notifications tab, and then click on ‘View requests’.


STEP 2:

Once you have clicked on a project request, click on the ‘Submit proposal’ button to send your project proposal to the potential client. Copy and paste your proposal and mark the checkbox that says ‘include phone consultation’.

STEP 3:

Once you submit your proposal, go to ‘Client projects’. Here is where you will see all your proposals and the requestors. Click on the title of the project request ‘resume writing’.


STEP 4:

Next, it will take you to the project request. Click on the requestor’s LinkedIn profile. Once you reach their profile, then click on ‘More’. Click on ‘Message {contact’s name}’. This will either allow you to message the requestor FREELY or take you to Sales Navigator to send an InMail Message.


STEP 5:

If the person has opened InMail, you can send the requestor a message FREELY without having to connect with them or use any InMail credits form Sales Navigator.

Remember, your main goal is to get in contact with the requestor as fast as possible. The quickest way to do this is by sending them a message on LinkedIn.

Now you want to send them a message. Here's a template you can use to connect with the prospect:


Subject Line: FREE resume review?
Message:
Hey {contact's first name},
I just received your project request for a new resume.

Would you be interested in having my team look over your resume FREE of charge?

If so, let’s connect and I will send over a link to upload your most recent resume.

Best,
{your name}


If you can’t message them FREELY then you want to take the next step and CONNECT WITH THEM. Click the “connect” button on the requestor’s LinkedIn profile.


STEP 6:

Once you press ‘connect’ you want to add a note. LinkedIn allows you to add a note of up to 300 characters.

Here is a template you can use to add a note if the project was a resume request:


Hey {contact's first name},
I just received your project request for a new resume.

Would you be interested in having my team look over your resume FREE of charge?

If so, let’s connect and I will send over a link to upload your most recent resume.

Best,
{your name}


STEP 7:

Now once they send a positive reply, meaning they would like the FREE resume review, send this message:


Thanks for getting back to me so fast.

Please upload your resume here: {insert landing page link here}

Once you upload your resume you will be prompted to book an appointment with our team.

Let me know when you upload it so our team can look at it right now!


Once you receive a positive response through a connection request or InMail message, you are now able to provide your potential client with a free resume review. Once they click on your link, it takes him to your landing page where they can upload their resume via your lead form.
